Upon arrival, I experienced a lengthy check-in process due to limited staffing, which was far from ideal. My room was spacious and clean, equipped with essential amenities such as a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, even if it was slightly noisy due to the laundry below. The hotel's fitness and leisure offerings are a highlight; the gym is well-equipped and spotless. The indoor swimming pool is another desirable feature, perfect for unwinding after a day of touring. Breakfast stood out with a good selection and quality, catering well to both adults and children. The evening meal disappointed, as the portion sizes seemed more suitable for children rather than adults, leading to a sense of underwhelming value. Considering its affordable rates, especially for families visiting attractions like Belton House, the hotel represents worthwhile value. For an enjoyable family getaway without expecting high-end dining, Belton Woods serves its purpose well.
